Stakeholder Relations Manager

Monica KurtzMonica develops and manages the strategic vision for outreach with diverse stakeholders including industry partners, government agencies, NGOs and other non-profits. Her primary responsibility is to identify, develop and maintain sponsored design projects for the Cornerstone and Capstone engineering design classes. During the fall of 2019 and 2020, Monica  served as a CSM101 mentor for a class of first-year students.

Monica has extensive experience working in private, public, and non-profit sectors managing communications, marketing and business development efforts. Having served as Director of Marketing and Director of Digital Productions for several organizations and agencies during her career, Monica has managed fully-integrated marketing and communications campaigns for organizations that include Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District, The Biennial of the Americas, and many of Colorado’s well-known tourism and cultural organizations including the Denver Zoo, History Colorado, Telluride Ski & Golf, Crested Butte Mountain Resort, and the Steamboat Chamber of Commerce.
