Stephanie Seevers
adjunct Professor

Stephanie Seevers holds a bachelor’s degree in geology and a master’s degree in science education. She worked briefly in petroleum exploration and environmental consulting before embarking on her primary career as a STEM educator. In addition to her secondary and post-secondary teaching roles, she also works on education research and curriculum development projects that offer interactive stochastic computer-based models designed to allow students to conduct authentic investigations of complex geologic phenomena. She is passionate about facilitating her students’ engagement in the messy, non-linear process of solving real-world science and engineering problems.
